The day begins from 9:00 a.m. with pick-up from centrally located hotels in Mendoza. After approximately 45 minutes of travel, we arrive in Potrerillos, surrounded by the Andes. At the base, the necessary equipment is provided: full neoprene suit and neoprene shoes, dry jacket, life jacket, helmet and paddle. Before entering the river, the guide gives a briefing covering essential navigation and safety techniques. Once the group is ready, we transfer to the upper section of the route to begin the descent on the Mendoza River. Aboard the rafts, we navigate approximately 8 kilometres, accompanied by guides and with a support kayak as part of the safety operation. Knowing how to swim is not essential to participate. At the end of the descent, we return to the base, where guests can change and enjoy a hot shower. For this reason, we recommend bringing a complete set of dry clothes. Lunch is not included. The complete service is published as approximately 7 hours, with return to Mendoza expected between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The river sets the course; the Andes accompany the adventure.
There is another way to discover the Andes: from the water. Between rapids, mountains and the constant movement of the Mendoza River, rafting transforms Potrerillos into an adventure shared through paddles, adrenaline and nature.
