The experience is available at two times: in the morning, approximately from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or in the afternoon, from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. From the city, we travel approximately 30 minutes to Lunlunta in Maipú, entering a rural landscape surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Once there, we prepare for a horseback ride of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. We use gentle, well-equipped horses and are accompanied throughout by a professional bilingual guide. On horseback, we cross Lunlunta’s agricultural landscape, following areas near the Mendoza River and enjoying views of the hills and the Andes. Along the way, we can see Mendoza’s vineyards up close and understand how climate and altitude shape this productive landscape. After approximately an hour and a half of riding, it is time to share an authentic criollo barbecue. The meal begins with empanadas, followed by grilled meats with salad and dessert. Drinks and one bottle of wine for every two guests are also included. At the end of the experience, we return by vehicle to centrally located hotels in Mendoza.
