Puerto Blest, Cascada de los Cántaros & Lago Frías

Duration
Approximately 7 hours

Sailing among forests, waterfalls and glacial waters

A day of navigation through the heart of Nahuel Huapi National Park, among the waters of Brazo Blest, Valdivian rainforest and waterfalls descending towards the lake. The experience can be extended to Lago Frías, known for its distinctive green waters and views towards Cerro Tronador.

The day begins with transfer to Puerto Pañuelo, where the navigation departs westward along Brazo Blest of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Along the way, we pass Isla Centinela, where the remains of Perito Francisco Pascasio Moreno—an essential figure in the creation of Argentina’s national parks—rest. After approximately one hour of navigation, we arrive at Puerto Cántaros. Here begins a walk up a stepped trail immersed in Valdivian rainforest towards Lake Los Cántaros. Along the way, several viewpoints reveal waterfalls descending over rock layers to form Cascada de los Cántaros. Back on board, we cross to the opposite shore and disembark at Puerto Blest, where there is time for lunch and to enjoy the surroundings. Guests who choose to extend the experience can add Lago Frías, sailing its distinctive green waters and enjoying a privileged view of Cerro Tronador’s three peaks.
