Río Manso Camp

On a private property beside the Lower Manso River, Río Manso Camp offers a comfortable immersion in Patagonia's Lake District. Its all-inclusive format combines accommodation, gourmet gastronomy and guided activities in a setting of forest, river and mountains. Bell Tents retain the classic spirit of glamping, while Deluxe Domes provide additional space and a private bathroom. Walks, horseback riding, rafting and evenings around the fire allow guests to experience the valley with different levels of adventure, accompanied by warm, personalized service.

Location

Río Manso Camp is located on the banks of the Lower Manso River, south of Nahuel Huapi National Park and approximately 90 kilometers from San Carlos de Bariloche. The journey takes about two hours and includes a section of gravel road. Its remote setting among forest, meadows and Cerro Bastión is essential to the experience, so transfers or driving directions should be arranged in advance.

The Accommodation

The camp combines 20 m² Bell Tents with king or twin beds and premium linens, and 38 m² Deluxe Domes with a private bathroom, shower and terrace. Bell Tent guests use modern shared bathroom and shower facilities with hot water. A large Bedouin-style tent serves as the riverside lounge, bar and restaurant. Forest and river relaxation areas, fire pits, gourmet meals and activities such as rafting, hiking and horseback riding complete the stay.

Why We Like It

Because it preserves the spirit of an outdoor adventure without sacrificing an excellent bed, good gastronomy or personal service. We particularly like its position beside the Manso River and the balance between active days and quiet time by the water or fire. For greater privacy and comfort, we recommend the Deluxe Domes with en-suite bathrooms.
