Pristine Salinas Grandes Luxury Camp
Pristine Salinas Grandes Luxury Camp transforms a night on the salt flats into an experience of contemplation, silence and connection with Andean culture. Its six suites integrate with the landscape on an intimate scale and through a sustainable approach to luxury. Programs may bring together accommodation, meals, transfers and experiences such as visiting the salt pools or interpreting Andean constellations. During the rainy season, the surface may become a mirror; in the dry season, white geometries emerge beneath skies of extraordinary depth.
Location
The camp is located at Salinas Grandes in Jujuy, approximately 70 kilometers from Purmamarca and 135 kilometers from San Salvador de Jujuy. Final access is by a coordinated transfer from the Tres Morros meeting point. Altitude, changing temperatures and distance from urban centers make advance planning and the team's guidance particularly important.
The Accommodation
Six suites feature private bathrooms, minibars, wood-burning stoves and large windows facing the salt flats. The 39 m² Premium Suites add a sitting area and a heated tub on the outdoor deck, available according to season and weather; Exclusive Suites offer a more compact option for two. Signature regional cuisine and activities interpreting the landscape and Andean sky complete the experience. Guests must be at least 12 years old.
Why We Like It
Because it allows guests to remain at Salinas Grandes when the landscape becomes silent and most visitors have departed. We appreciate the scale of only six suites and the way gastronomy, astronomy and local culture deepen the experience of the salt flats. It is a place to travel slowly and watch the light transform the landscape throughout the day.
