Location
The camp lies within Estancia Dos Lagos, approximately 43 kilometers from El Calafate and 67 kilometers from the airport. Los Glaciares National Park is about 55 kilometers away. Its remote setting provides views toward Perito Moreno Glacier and the steppe, making coordinated transfers essential. It generally operates during the Patagonian season from October to April.
The Accommodation
The property combines six 39 m² Premium Suites with two 63 m² Family Premium Suites. All have private bathrooms, minibars, wood-burning stoves and outdoor decks. Premium Suites add a heated outdoor tub, while Family units offer two rooms and space for up to five guests. Accommodation, signature cuisine and experiences across the estancia are delivered at an intimate scale.
Why We Like It
Because very few experiences allow guests to contemplate Perito Moreno Glacier from the privacy of their own accommodation. We appreciate the contrast between the austerity of the steppe and the warm comfort of the domes, especially at the end of the day. It is an extraordinary choice for making the glacial landscape part of the entire stay rather than a single excursion.
