Surrounded by vineyards and mountains, Piattelli Wine Resort offers a spacious, private stay in the heart of the Calchaquí Valleys. Its twenty independent casitas combine contemporary architecture, local materials, terraces and 360-degree views. Wine structures much of the experience through private wine bars, tastings and proximity to the winery, while Aura restaurant, La Bestia grill, the pools and spa make it easy to alternate exploration with rest. The resort is reserved for guests aged 18 and over.
Location
Piattelli Wine Resort is located on the road to Yacochuya, a short distance from central Cafayate. Vineyards, mountains and the broad valley surround the property, creating a privileged base for visiting wineries, driving through the Quebrada de las Conchas and exploring the Calchaquí Valleys. We recommend having a vehicle or arranging transfers in advance.
The Accommodation
The resort has twenty independent casitas ranging from 98 to 160 m² in Deluxe, Executive and Presidential categories. Each includes a living room, en-suite bedroom, dressing area, private wine bar, two fireplaces and a terrace; upper categories add a heated Jacuzzi and extra living space. Aura restaurant, La Bestia grill, two pools with bars, a water-circuit spa, gym, bicycles and tastings complete the experience.
Why We Like It
Because it extends the wine experience beyond a winery visit and makes it the rhythm of the entire stay. We appreciate the privacy of the casitas, terraces with fireplaces and unusually generous spaces. It is especially appealing to couples seeking gastronomy, wine and relaxation in an adults-only setting.
