Patagonia Camp

Patagonia Camp combines the spirit of camping in nature with the comfort of a high-end hotel. Its yurts are set on raised platforms within native forest, facing the vast Lake Toro and the mountains of Chilean Patagonia. The architecture was designed to reduce impact on the land and maintain a constant relationship with the landscape. Wooden walkways connect the different areas, allowing guests to move between rooms and common spaces without losing the feeling of being immersed in the forest. Its all-inclusive programs combine accommodation, dining and explorations in Torres del Paine, creating an especially appealing experience for travelers who want to discover the park from a more intimate setting away from traditional hotels.

Location

Patagonia Camp is located on the shores of Lake Toro along Route Y-290 in the Torres del Paine district. The camp is surrounded by native forest and provides a quiet base for exploring Torres del Paine National Park. The transfer from Puerto Natales takes approximately an hour and a half.

The Accommodation

Accommodation is arranged in independent yurts inspired by the traditional nomadic dwellings of Central Asia and reinterpreted for the Patagonian landscape. Higher categories offer more space, terraces and privileged views. The experience is complemented by a restaurant, panoramic common areas and an excursion program exploring trails, lakes, glaciers and viewpoints throughout Torres del Paine. The property applies several practices designed to reduce environmental impact, including raised walkways, water-reuse systems and construction intended to disturb the land as little as possible.

Why We Like It

Because it achieves something difficult: offering comfort without losing the feeling of camping in a remote landscape. The yurts let guests hear the wind, watch the forest and feel genuinely immersed in Patagonia. We especially like it as an alternative to conventional park hotels and for travelers seeking a sophisticated but informal nature experience.
