Salta
House of jasmines
House of Jasmines is a century-old estancia in La Merced Chica, just outside the city of Salta. A long eucalyptus-lined drive leads to this country house surrounded by gardens, open fields and views toward the Andes.
With only 14 rooms and suites, it offers an intimate, peaceful experience shaped by warm hospitality and the unhurried rhythm of estancia life. Its offering combines cuisine inspired by Northwestern flavors, wellness and activities that connect guests with the landscape and traditions of the region.
Location
House of Jasmines is located in La Merced Chica on National Route 51, approximately 15 minutes from downtown Salta and 10 minutes from Martín Miguel de Güemes International Airport. Its setting offers the peace of the countryside while serving as a base for exploring the city of Salta, Cafayate, the Calchaquí Valleys and other emblematic landscapes of Northwestern Argentina.
The Accommodation
The estancia has 14 rooms and suites distributed between the main house and other buildings integrated into the property. Interiors combine the character of a historic residence with a warm, elegant aesthetic using natural materials, regional textiles and a palette inspired by the Salta landscape.
The wellness area includes a spa, sauna, steam room, gym and outdoor pool with views toward the Andes. At La Table de House of Jasmines, the cuisine reinterprets local products and traditional Salta flavors with refinement, accompanied by a carefully selected range of regional wines.
The experience is completed by horseback riding, walks, tastings, cooking classes and other activities connected to the nature and culture of the Northwest.
Why We Like It
Because it preserves the intimacy and spirit of an authentic country house, complemented by the care and hospitality of a Relais & Châteaux hotel. We appreciate its small scale, serene gardens and the sense of disconnection that begins the moment guests enter its emblematic eucalyptus-lined drive.
We also value its cuisine, deeply rooted in Salta's flavors, and the opportunity to rest in nature without being far from the city. It is a place with an identity of its own, ideal for beginning or ending a journey through Northwestern Argentina.
