ACP Journey
Parque das Aves

Parque das Aves

An immersive experience in the Atlantic Forest to discover tropical birds and other regional species up close. Its trails and large aviaries let you walk among colour, sound and vegetation, making it the ideal complement to a visit to the Brazilian Falls.

Nature

The experience

The visit takes place after the Brazilian Falls excursion, combining both experiences in a single day on the Brazilian side. On entering Parque das Aves, a walking route begins along trails surrounded by tropical vegetation. Visitors can enter selected aviaries, allowing close observation of tropical, exotic and intensely coloured birds moving through large spaces integrated with the forest. The experience is not limited to birds. Other species may also be seen, including caimans, anacondas, boas, marmosets and butterflies. After the visit, the return to the hotel begins.

The place

Parque das Aves is a privately operated park on Avenida das Cataratas, Km 17.1, close to Iguaçu National Park. The route runs along trails and through large aviaries integrated into a humid tropical forest setting, allowing visitors to observe birds at close range.

Why we love it

Because it completely changes the pace after viewing the Falls. Here the experience becomes more intimate: you walk through tropical vegetation and enter spacious aviaries where the birds become part of the environment around you. It is especially appealing for families, nature lovers and travellers who want to complete their day in Brazil with something different.
