Cerro Catedral
A visit to one of Bariloche’s great icons. Cerro Catedral combines mountain scenery, panoramic views and the atmosphere of the region’s main winter activity centre in a half-day experience that changes with every season.
The experience
The excursion begins in the afternoon with departure from Bariloche towards Cerro Catedral. On arrival at the base, there is time to explore the surroundings and discover one of the region’s most emblematic mountain centres. During winter, Catedral becomes a setting for skiing and snowboarding, with different lifts providing access to various sectors of the mountain. At other times of year, the landscape changes completely: much of the snow disappears and the mountain offers panoramic views and summer activities, depending on what is operating each season. Guests who wish to ascend may use the lifts open on the date. Lift tickets are not part of the Inspiro service and must be paid separately. After the visit, return to Bariloche.

The place
Cerro Catedral is one of Bariloche’s most representative mountain landscapes. In winter it becomes a major hub for skiing and snowboarding, supported by extensive lift infrastructure; outside the snow season, the mountain continues to offer panoramic views and different summer activities.

Because it offers an easy way to approach Bariloche’s high-mountain landscape without devoting a full day to it. It also changes with the seasons: in winter, snow and the activity of the ski centre transform the setting; in warmer months, the mountain takes on a different rhythm and the views become the main attraction.
