Brazilian Falls
A panoramic view of Iguazú Falls from the Brazilian side. A route through rainforest and viewpoints reveals the full system from a broad perspective, ending opposite Floriano Fall with one of the park’s most striking views.
The experience
The excursion begins with hotel pick-up and transfer to Brazil to enter Iguaçu National Park. Once inside, the route follows a boardwalk of approximately 1,000 metres, offering a succession of panoramic perspectives over the Falls and surrounding landscape. The walk gradually approaches one of the route’s highlights: the Floriano Fall area. At the end of the boardwalk, a viewpoint can be reached by lift. From there, one of the most imposing views over the entire system opens up. After the visit, return transfer to the hotel begins.

The place
The experience takes place inside Iguaçu National Park, approximately 25 km from central Foz do Iguaçu. Unlike the Argentine side, where most of the individual falls are located, the Brazilian side offers an especially panoramic perspective of the whole system. Caracol notes that around 80% of the falls lie on the Argentine side, while the Brazilian park has a boardwalk of approximately 1,000 metres with a succession of viewpoints.
Why we love it
Because it offers a completely different perspective on the Falls. While the Argentine side brings you close to individual cascades on different circuits, the Brazilian side lets you step back and understand the true scale of the whole. It is shorter, highly visual and the ideal complement for travellers who want to experience Iguazú from both countries.
A panoramic view that reveals the true scale of Iguazú.
