EcoCamp Patagonia

A pioneering geodesic-dome camp inside Torres del Paine, designed to combine trekking, sustainability and direct connection with nature.

The stay

EcoCamp Patagonia was one of the pioneering projects to transform the geodesic dome into a form of tourist accommodation. Set inside Torres del Paine National Park, it offers a way to inhabit the landscape through low-impact structures inspired by how nomadic peoples adapted to their territory. Different dome categories range from a very simple experience to suites with private bathrooms, heating and greater comfort. Community spaces, the restaurant and yoga dome create a social atmosphere that distinguishes it from other luxury lodges. The concept is especially geared toward active travelers: programs depart from the camp for W Trek routes, multi-day circuits, wildlife safaris and other experiences connected to the park’s natural environment.

Location

EcoCamp Patagonia is located inside Torres del Paine National Park near some of the best-known trails and landscapes of the Las Torres sector. Its location allows several exploration days to begin directly from the camp, reducing transfers and maintaining a constant sense of immersion in the park.

Why we love it

Because it preserves a genuine sense of adventure. It does not try to reproduce a traditional hotel inside the park, but instead offers another way to inhabit it. We especially like the Suite Domes for ACP: they retain the camp’s distinctive character while providing the level of comfort needed after a long day of trekking.
